The Food
Ghanaian classics done properly — jollof, banku, fufu, grilled tilapia — alongside burgers, pizza and continental plates. Everything cooked to order.
Our Story
Shadows opened with one idea: give the neighbourhood a place that takes food and drink seriously without taking itself seriously.
Who we are
What started as a small grill and a handful of tables has grown into one of Taifa's favourite spots to eat, drink and celebrate. We cook with local produce, we pour with care, and we treat every guest like a regular.
Our team is local, our suppliers are local, and our menu changes with what the market gives us. Whether you're here for a working lunch, a family dinner, a birthday or a Friday that runs into Saturday, Shadows is set up for it.

Ghanaian classics done properly — jollof, banku, fufu, grilled tilapia — alongside burgers, pizza and continental plates. Everything cooked to order.

A full bar of cocktails and mocktails, ice-cold local and imported beer, wine by the glass and a considered spirits shelf.

Low light, warm wood, an open terrace and music that suits the hour. Quiet enough to talk early, alive enough to stay late.
Entertainment
Live highlife and afrobeats sessions, DJ nights, major football on the big screens and a terrace that fills up fast. Ask us about hosting your own event — birthdays, work parties and private hires are welcome.
Your experience
Friendly service, honest pricing in Ghana Cedis, quick kitchen times and a team that remembers your order. That's the standard we hold ourselves to.
